Terms of Service

QuitNicotine AI (“the App”, “we”, “our”) is developed and published by Amatto Labs (“Developer”). The App provides a behavioral wellness tool designed to support users who are attempting to reduce or quit nicotine use. It is available on Apple iOS devices and distributed via the Apple App Store.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use QuitNicotine AI. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The App is not intended for use by minors under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding agreement.

QuitNicotine AI is a general wellness and behavioral support application. It is not a medical device and does not provide clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI coach feature provides general coaching based on your inputs and is intended for informational and motivational purposes only.

Nothing in the App should be construed as medical advice or as a substitute for professional medical guidance. If you have any health conditions, are pregnant, or are concerned about nicotine dependency, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your nicotine use.

The App does not claim to cure, treat, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

QuitNicotine AI offers a free 3-day trial, after which continued access to premium features requires a paid subscription. All subscriptions are offered through and managed by Apple's App Store.

• Subscription options include weekly and annual plans.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their standard policies. We do not process refunds directly.

All billing matters are governed by Apple's Terms and Conditions. We have no access to your payment information.

Your data is stored locally on your device by default. You may optionally enable cloud synchronization, which stores your data using Supabase (AWS EU region). For full details on data handling, please review our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into the App. We do not verify the data you provide and make no representations about its accuracy.

By using QuitNicotine AI, you agree to:

• Use the App for lawful purposes only.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App.
• Not use the App in any way that could harm other users or the Developer.
• Take personal responsibility for your own health decisions.
• Understand that quit outcomes depend on many personal factors and cannot be guaranteed by any app or tool.

All content, design, code, branding, and materials within QuitNicotine AI are the exclusive property of Amatto Labs and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written permission.

QuitNicotine AI is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about the App's availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amatto Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, loss of profits, or emotional distress, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use QuitNicotine AI.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

The App integrates with third-party services including Google (Gemini AI), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Supabase (optional cloud sync). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. For significant changes, we may notify users through the App or App Store update notes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Spain.
